Community Guidelines

1. About these guidelines

FY Wall is the community feed in the Refyuel app, where members share training updates and comment on each other's posts. These Community Guidelines explain what is and isn't allowed on FY Wall. They form part of our Terms of Service, and they also apply to messages you send to a coach through Refyuel.

Refyuel is operated by Refyuel Innovations (ABN 50 306 322 750), an Australian business (“Refyuel”, “we”, “us”).

2. Who can use FY Wall

You must be at least 16 years old to use Refyuel, including FY Wall. Your posts and comments show your display name to other Refyuel members, so don't share anything you want to keep private.

3. Zero tolerance

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don't post, comment or send:

- Abuse, harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation
- Hate speech or slurs, or attacks on people because of their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or any similar characteristic
- Sexual or sexually explicit content
- Violence, or content that encourages violence
- Content that promotes or encourages self-harm, suicide or disordered eating
- Spam, scams, fake giveaways, or repeated unwanted promotion of products or services
- Illegal or dangerous advice, including unsafe diets, extreme fasting or calorie restriction, or how to get or use drugs, steroids or other performance-enhancing substances
- Content that pretends to be someone else, including another member, a coach or Refyuel
- Someone else's personal information, such as their phone number, address, email or health details, without their permission
- Anything else that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights, such as their copyright

4. No medical claims

FY Wall is not a place for medical advice. Don't claim that a product, diet, supplement or programme prevents, treats or cures any disease or medical condition, and don't present yourself as giving medical advice. Share your own experience rather than telling others what to do with their health.

Posts and comments are the views of the members who write them, not Refyuel's, and we don't check them for accuracy. Talk to a qualified health professional before acting on anything you read on FY Wall. See our Health & Medical Disclaimer.

5. How we check posts

Before a post or comment is published, it is checked automatically against a filter of offensive words, slurs and sexual or abusive terms, including disguised spellings. If it fails the check, it isn't published. If the check can't run, for example because of a technical problem, it isn't published either, and you can try again later.

We also limit how often you can post and comment, and you can't share the same post again within a short time.

No automatic filter catches everything, so we also rely on reports from members.

6. Reporting and blocking

To report a post, open its ··· menu; to report a comment, tap Report under it. Then choose a reason: spam, harassment, hate or slurs, sexual content, violence, or other. Reports come to Refyuel for review. If several members report the same post or comment, it is hidden automatically until we review it.

To block a member, choose Block user from the ··· menu on one of their posts, or tap Block user under one of their comments. After you block someone, you won't see each other's posts or comments anywhere on FY Wall. To unblock someone, go to Blocked members in FY Wall privacy settings and tap Unblock.

You can delete your own posts and comments at any time. For a post, open its ··· menu and tap Delete post; this also deletes its comments. For a comment, tap Delete comment under it.

You can also turn off “Discoverable on FY Wall” in FY Wall privacy settings to hide yourself from the feed.

If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first. For anything else, email support@refyuelapp.com.

7. What Refyuel may do

If content or behaviour breaks these guidelines or our Terms of Service, we may, acting reasonably:

- Remove the post or comment
- Keep it hidden while we review it
- Suspend your account, or close it permanently
- Report it to the police or other authorities where the law requires it or we believe someone is at risk

We may act even if nobody has reported the content. Removed posts and comments are taken off FY Wall, and other members can no longer see them. A post or comment hidden for review stays visible only to you. A suspended or closed account can't sign in to Refyuel.

We keep records of posts our filter stops and of reports, so we can review them and keep FY Wall safe. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle this information.

8. If you think we got it wrong

If you think we removed your content or suspended your account by mistake, tap Contact / appeal (in the FY Wall menus or in FY Wall privacy settings), or email support@refyuelapp.com, with the email address on your account and what happened. We'll review your request and reply by email.

9. Changes to these guidelines

We may update these guidelines as FY Wall changes. The latest version is always on this page. Changes to our Terms of Service follow the process set out in the Terms.
