Delete your account

You can delete your Refyuel account and all associated personal data at any time. Once confirmed, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion. All data is purged within 30 days with no option to recover it after the deletion window closes.

If you have an active paid coach plan, cancel it in Coach OS (Settings > Billing) and wait until the paid period ends before scheduling deletion in Health OS.

Option 1 - Delete inside the app (fastest)

If you have the Refyuel app installed, schedule deletion from Settings:

iPhone (iOS) and Android
Open Refyuel → Profile tab → Settings (gear icon) → Account → Schedule account deletion… → enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

You can still sign in during the 30-day window. Health OS shows a banner with Cancel deletion until the purge date. After that date, data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

We send a confirmation email when deletion is scheduled and when you cancel it, including the purge date and how to cancel in the app.

Option 2 - Request by email (if you no longer have the app)

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us and we will process your deletion request manually within 5 business days.

Include: The email address registered to your Refyuel account. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems within 30 days:

- Your account credentials (email address, password hash)
- Your profile (name, date of birth, gender, profile photo)
- All workout sessions, exercise logs, and training history
- All nutrition logs, meal records, and food preferences
- Body metrics, health goals, and progress data
- Sport profile, training phase, and personalisation data
- Push notification tokens and device registrations
- Any coach or club relationships linked to your account

Pseudonymous, aggregated analytics held by our third-party processors (PostHog, Sentry) may be retained under their own retention policies. These records do not contain your name, email address, or identifiable health data - see our Privacy Policy §2 for detail on what those events contain.

Deletion timeline

- Immediately: deletion is scheduled and we email you the purge date. You remain able to sign in until that date.
- Within 30 days: all personal data listed above is permanently purged from our database and backups.
- Cancellation window: You can still sign in during the 30-day window. Health OS shows a banner with Cancel deletion until the purge date. After that date, data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
