Delete your account

You can delete your Refyuel account and all associated personal data at any time. Once confirmed, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion. All data is purged within 30 days with no option to recover it after the deletion window closes.

Option 1 - Delete inside the app (fastest)

If you have the Refyuel app installed, deletion is instant from Settings:

iPhone (iOS)
Open Refyuel → Profile tab → Settings (gear icon, top right) → scroll to Account section → tap Schedule account deletion… → enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

Android
Open Refyuel → Profile tab → Settings (gear icon, top right) → scroll to Account section → tap Schedule account deletion… → enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is immediately scheduled for deletion. You will see a confirmation banner in the app. If you change your mind, you can cancel within the 30-day window from the same screen.

Option 2 - Request by email (if you no longer have the app)

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us and we will process your deletion request manually within 5 business days.

Include: The email address registered to your Refyuel account. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems within 30 days:

- Your account credentials (email address, password hash)
- Your profile (name, date of birth, gender, profile photo)
- All workout sessions, exercise logs, and training history
- All nutrition logs, meal records, and food preferences
- Body metrics, health goals, and progress data
- Sport profile, training phase, and personalisation data
- Push notification tokens and device registrations
- Any coach or club relationships linked to your account

Pseudonymous, aggregated analytics held by our third-party processors (PostHog, Sentry) may be retained under their own retention policies. These records do not contain your name, email address, or identifiable health data - see our Privacy Policy §2 for detail on what those events contain.

Deletion timeline

- Immediately: your account is locked; you cannot sign in once deletion is scheduled.
- Within 30 days: all personal data listed above is permanently purged from our database and backups.
- Cancellation window: you may cancel a scheduled deletion within 30 days by signing in and tapping Cancel deletion in the banner shown at the top of the app.
